CHWALLOW is a piece for six or seven circus artists.

In chwallow, the audience, like an entomologist, is invited to discover an offbeat, performative microcosm in a pop, colourful, inflatable setting.

The performers/characters, grappling with a changing environment, find their way between the familiar, the grotesque, the strange and the whimsical.

The circus revisited is combined with an abstract narrative that presents a world of art, sound, sport, theatre and even museums.

Scheduled for release in 2025.

CHWALLOW is a prize-winner in the call for projects for “enhanced support for interdisciplinary circus creation” supported by UP – Circus & Performing Arts and Théâtre Varia.
